The Office for Mission Advancement and Sustainability is a step in the implementation of the XIX Chapter decision to support the development of a more sustainable approach. This includes strengthening professional fundraising and project development, ensuring transparency and accountability, and integrating ecological criteria in resource use and investment.

The invitation to develop the sustainable model of management for the institutes supports the needs for the office. “…we want to consolidate a sustainable management model for the Institute that follows the principles of ethics, transparency, redistribution and competence, increasingly adopting a lifestyle consistent with the Gospel.” (CA, 2022, Introduction, p. 14)
